Minor Update — Multi-Plate Auto-Support Enhancements

Lychee Slicer 7.5.2 delivers a set of targeted improvements to the Multi-Plate feature and the new Auto Support System introduced in version 7.5. This update enhances support placement precision, adds new customization options, and introduces the long-awaited import/export system for Auto Support presets.

Lychee Slicer 7.5.2 Updates 🎉

[Multi-plate] – Added a trash icon to delete a plate, an eye icon to hide a plate in the 3D view, and moved the “add plate” button to the right side of the interface.

[Fix] - Fixed resin estimation so it now works correctly on any selected plate, not just the first one.

[Fix] - Fixed the projection support issue so it now works reliably in all cases.

Import / Export for Auto Support Presets

You can now save your Auto Support settings as shareable presets and import presets created by other users in the community. This new tool allows you to:

• Export complete Auto Support profiles (including all categories and thresholds),
• Import presets from other creators or machines,
• Switch quickly between presets for different printers, resins, or model types.

Access: Prepare → Auto → Automatic Supports→ Select Preset → Import/Export

This marks the first step toward a fully community-driven preset ecosystem.

Global Support Offsets (By default)

To complement the existing island-based offset (automatically derived from support tip size), version 7.5.1 introduces a new edge offset option as part of the algorithm for all other support types: Reinforcement, Overhang, Stabilization

This offset defines a minimum clearance distance between detected edges and the generated support. Benefits include: Cleaner model edges, Reduced surface marks, Easier post-processing, More consistent support placement across all categories
