With the rollout of the SDCP 3.0 Wifi protocol, you can now transfer files to the latest 3D printing machines, including the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra and Mars 5 Ultra. It allows you to pause or cancel prints directly from the Lychee Slicer interface, providing greater control over your printing process. Stay tuned for upcoming camera support in future updates
Fast Slicing Compatible with .GOO and .PRZ
You can now use the fast slicing feature with all current and future Elegoo and Phrozen printers.
[Plus Users] Added Batch Process on the Current Scene
Now, you can apply batch actions directly to the visible objects in your scene instead of just external files. Use multiple treatments like scaling, rotating, and adding notes without the hassle of reopening files, making the process quicker and easier.
3MF Format Now Supported for Bambulab Printers
The 3MF format is now supported in Lychee Slicer for Bambulab printers (X1, P1P, P1S, A1, and A1 Mini), allowing for better integration with features like thumbnail management, calibration, and accurate estimates of print time and weight. This feature has officially left beta status.
Send Sliced Files Directly to Your Printer via Wifi/Ethernet
Sending pre-sliced and saved files directly to your machine is now possible. This feature saves valuable time by allowing easy reprints of files stored on your PC with just a few clicks.
Object Selection Export to a New Scene
Easily export selected objects from one scene to another—ideal for breaking up large scenes or organizing project elements separately. Access this by going to File ⇒ Export As ⇒ Selection as New Lychee Scene, then open it by selecting File ⇒ New Scene.
New Shortcut to Hide Interface [shift + tab]
Hide the slicer interface and gain more space for placing supports and observing your model, all while keeping the clipping bar and movement controls accessible.
Bonus: Reset Trial (10 more days)
Already used your 30-day trial? Enjoy extra time! To celebrate our latest version, we’re resetting your trial! By updating to version 7.1, you’ll receive a 10-day bonus of Lychee Slicer Plus.
Improved 🚀
Improved Settings for Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra and Saturn 4 Ultra
Resin settings for the Elegoo Mars 5 Ultra and Saturn 4 Ultra have been refined to remove unnecessary options, optimizing their tilting capabilities for smoother prints.
Improved “Planar Cut” Tool
Easily adjust the cutting height and angle for precise, symmetrical cuts. Move the cutting plane in millimeters and set angles on the XYZ axes for exact adjustments, like trimming 3 mm from the bottom of an object.
Improved “Arrange All” Tool
The auto-arrangement settings are now easy to find under Layout ⇒ Arrange, simplifying the organization of your print plates. Quickly switch from a packed resin scene to a spacious rectangular filament scene in seconds, without the hassle of searching for settings.
Improved “Custom Bracing” Parameters
The maximum values for Bottom Start and Gap of the bracing have been increased to 30 mm. Adjust these settings to enhance your print stability and quality.
Improved Folder Suggestion when Importing/Exporting Files
The software now remembers the last used folder for importing and exporting files, making the process quicker and easier. This enhancement improves overall user convenience.
Improved Overhang Visualization
Overhangs are now shown with a default checkerboard pattern, which you can change to a gradient or turn off entirely. This consistent display across all stages makes it easier to check model printability and position supports effectively.
